This policy follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). It covers wheresthegoldpokiesau.com, run by the Goldpan Pokies editors.
What we collect
- Nothing through the pages themselves. The site has no analytics scripts, no advertising or social-media pixels, no comment system and no forms. We don’t set cookies.
- Server logs at our host. Like any website, the company that serves our pages keeps short-lived technical logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested, time) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We don’t combine those logs with anything else and don’t use them to identify you.
- Search statistics. We use Google Search Console, which reports how often our pages appear in Google search results in aggregate. It doesn’t give us information about individual visitors.
- Email you send us. If you write to us, we keep your message and address only to answer and to fix the page you told us about.
Links to other sites
Pages link to sources such as Aristocrat, government sites and venues. Those sites have their own privacy policies. If we ever link to a casino, that link will pass through an address on our site starting with /go/ that simply forwards you; a casino you visit collects data under its own policy, not ours.
Storage and disclosure
We don’t sell, rent or share personal information. Emails are stored in our mailbox provider’s service, which may keep data outside Australia. We would disclose information only if the law required it.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, by emailing hello@wheresthegoldpokiesau.com. We answer within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
